What Would Jesus Do?

Do you know?

Charles M. Sheldon's classic,

In His Steps

asks its readers to take the following pledge,
"I want volunteers ... who will pledge themselves, earnestly and honestly for an entire year,
not to do anything without first asking the question,
'What would Jesus do?'
And after asking that question, each one will follow Jesus as exactly as he knows how,
no matter what the result may be."

Do you have the courage to take this pledge?
More importantly, what kind of Christian are you if you don't?

Being a Christian requires us to do more than merely accept Jesus as our Savior --
we are expected to take the more difficult second step of accepting Him as our Lord.
This requires us to ask "What would Jesus do?"
in every aspect of our lives and then
DO IT!
This alone would be no easy task
even if we knew what Jesus would do in any given situation.
The bad news is that we don't even know this much.
The good news is that we can do better.

"I have been so inspired and uplifted...."
"What a blessing it has been in our lives!"
"...the material presented each week left us looking forward to what new insights we could learn the next week."
"It's definitely a challenge to think in terms of what Jesus would do in every aspect of life,
but I've become aware of thinking more on this concept, and attempting to apply it to everything."
