In all the wars that the United States has fought – from the Revolution to Afghanistan – approximately 910,000 Americans have died. In the thirty-eight years since the Supreme Court authorized abortion, it is estimated that approximately fifty-three million Americans have died – in their mother’s womb. What this means is that the secular, progressive liberal has proved to be a much greater threat to American lives than all the monarchs, tyrants, and terrorists combined. We lose more Americans a day to abortion than were lost in all the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. And while hundreds of thousands gathered in Washington D.C. to protest this atrocity, President Obama celebrated, “Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, and affirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters… And on this anniversary, I hope that we will recommit ourselves more broadly to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights, the same freedoms, and the same opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.” Mr. President, it’s pretty hard for anyone – son or daughter – to pursue any dream from within a plastic bag labeled “Biologic Waste.”
